Gari Nguyen turned 24 with an accumulation of 8 published books, of which “Just Smile, Don’t Care About Life” topped the Bestseller list in 2017. Gari Nguyen – The symbol of a small warrior
Gari Nguyen, real name Nguyen Thi Yen Phuong, born in 1995, is the youngest of four sisters in Dong Nai. Gari’s parents are both businesswomen, her older sisters are also excellent and successful, so Gari always faces great pressure from them. Although she was encouraged to pursue business, with the arrogance of youth, she decided to follow her own path. With patience and effort, she founded a company and wrote books.

‘Gari started writing at the age of 9, and had an article published at the same age, which was an essay. When she was in grades 7 and 8, she started collaborating with Muc Tim newspaper. With her parents busy, she studied and took care of herself.
At the age of 16, Gari earned 600,000 VND from writing for 2! newspaper. Then, to support herself, when she was a freshman, she earned about 1 million VND per month, enough for living expenses and saving for tuition. There were times when she only had 50k left in her pocket, but she continued to walk with instant noodles and green tea.’
The dead book was a bitter lesson in Gari’s career, but she did not give up and continued to look for new opportunities. During her first two years of university, Gari interned for five famous advertising and media companies without pay. Despite encountering unsympathetic colleagues who tried to hinder her development, upon graduation, Gari had accumulated enough experience and entered the Marketing – Communications industry, and established Gari Content Agency. The difficulties could not stop her progress, but on the contrary, they made Gari stronger and more determined than yesterday.
